Nestled in a serene corner of the city, Genessis offers a culinary experience worth savoring. My stay was highlighted by the delightful breakfast buffet featuring a traditional Chapino breakfast, skillfully prepared. This dish, combining eggs, beans, fried plantain, fresh fruit, and juice, provided a fulfilling start to each day. The onsite restaurant, renowned for its American cuisine, presents an inviting atmosphere amid lush gardens. Dining here felt tranquil, a perfect backdrop for a leisurely meal. I especially enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea available throughout the day, often accompanied by a slice of pound cake, which provided comfort during my explorations. The staff went beyond expectations, assisting in organizing transportation and providing helpful maps, making my experience seamless. They even packed a lunch for my day trip to Atitlan, a thoughtful gesture that showcased their attention to detail. For those who appreciate good food in a relaxing environment, this hotel deserves consideration.
